Returns & Exchanges 


What is your return policy?

Returned items need to arrive at our office in their original condition. Secure the package in the original packaging, and a padded envelope or a small box with bubble wrap. If the return value is over 100Euro, we highly recommend insuring the package at the post office for protection against loss.
Note: Your shipping costs will not be refunded.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a maximum of two weeks.

IMPORTANT INFO:
We do not process any refunds until we have received the package back to us with all it’s original items contained.
The following points may lead to a reduction in or complete loss of your refund:

• Incomplete products
• Products that are not in their original condition
• Signs of wearing, signs of use
• Filth, strange odours and/or any other damage to the product

Whether or not these points are applicable to your return/exchange is to be established by one of our employees.

For orders that have been delivered to an address outside of the European Union, your refund will consist of the amount paid for the returned goods. This means that refunds from Karelia will not include shipping costs, local taxes and import fees. Should you wish to receive a refund on local taxes and import fees please contact your local post or Customs office.

Late or missing refunds 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@worldofkarelia.com.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges 

We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@worldofkarelia.com and we will send you instructions per email.

Can I exchange an item for another size?

Yes, you can exchange your ordered items for different sizes, provided that the size you wish to exchange for is in stock. Please contact us at info@worldofkarelia.com.

Returning items

To return your product, you should mail your product to our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach us, may vary. If you are shipping an item over 100Euro, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@worldofkarelia.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
